About Us

CDE stands for Commissioning Design Engineering and is an engineering and consulting company that offers services in commissioning, testing, design, and project management for projects in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power. The headquarters is located in Västerås, but CDE also has offices in Stockholm and Kiruna. We are constantly growing and are now looking for someone with a background in the electrical power industry who wants to continue their journey with us at CDE.

Job Responsibilities

As an Electrical Designer at CDE, you will work on various projects and assignments within the electrical power industry. Your tasks will primarily be project-oriented, where your daily work is characterized by the use of tools such as Auto-CAD and El-master. You will also actively participate in technical and project meetings to ensure effective coordination of the work. By being part of the project from start to finish, you will have the opportunity to influence different phases. Therefore, your tasks will vary to meet the project's needs. An important part of your role is to ensure that the design meets the client's specifications and requirements.

• You have a strong drive and commitment to your work and are passionate about developing
• You have an analytical and solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of quality, safety, and responsibility
• You represent the company to clients, and we therefore expect you to have good communication skills that exude both knowledge and professionalism
• You value good planning and high quality in your work
• You are meticulous and structured
• You are a team player who is collaborative and open to new ideas but can also work independently
• You work proactively as you seek opportunities while taking responsibility for your projects

Education and Experience

• You have technical experience from the electrical power industry and hold an engineering degree, or have equivalent work experience
• You have knowledge and experience working with tools such as CAD, Elmaster, or similar
• You have a B driver's license
• You speak both Swedish and English fluently
